So heres my question:My boyfriend used to do some electrician work with his cousin before, and hasnt done it in a while. now he wants to go out on his own and become a journeyman first, then eventually be a contracter himself. does anyone have any advice on the best way to go about this? (in California, Los Angeles area) Where he should study, take the test, or try to apply for work for that matter? he's been out of work for a while and its hard for him to get back on track, so i really want to help him get back on his feet. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
