A pack of cigs costs about $4. A normal smoker usually smokes about a pack a day. So, $4 times the 7 is $28 a week. $28 times the 4 weeks in the month is $112. An average smoker spends $112 a month, $28 a week, and $4 a day on cigarettes.

Not sure why you're asking, Hope you're not thinking of starting smoking.I have been smoking for over 30 years. When I first started smoking I was 12 years old. We didn't know any better.Cigarettes then were 40 cents a pack.I still smoke now and they are close to $5.00 a pack and I smoke between a pack and a half to two packs a day.Smoking has caused me to be short of breath, I have asthma now, I have a cronic Cough and the addiction is maddening.I am totally addicted to nicotine, and the thought of running outgets me totally upset and I panic.So if you want to save yourself a life of failing health and an addiction worse than >>>>>>>. DON'T SMOKE.

of course, it depends on the cigarette brand. They range in price from about 1.69 to 3.50. so between about $12 to $24 a week, $48 to $96 a month based on one pack a day, thats what I smoke, I think most people smoke more

It depends on the price of a pack of cigarettes and whether or not the smoker buys more than one pack one day to stock up for a week or so. Say a pack of cigarettes costs $8 flat and the smoker buys that brand. We multiply the cost per the amount of days in the month. Say it's 31 days, we get a total of $248. So the smoker spent $248 in one month. If we want to see what their annual cost is per year, 8 multiplied by 365. They will pay a total of $2920 in one year just for cigarettes. And, for one week, 8x7=56. So, $8 a day, $56 a week, $224- $248 per month, and a grand total of $2920 per year. It all depends on the price of a pack of cigarettes cost.
